Abstract Submission

VR Mental Health Conference is accepting abstract submissions (Oral, Posters, Workshop, Pitch and Symposium). The Presentation portal will take you through the process of submitting your abstract and can be found by clicking one of the buttons below.

It’s no longer possible to submit abstracts through our abstract submission portal. Abstract submission results will be announced on October 5th.

Presentation types and requirements

Oral 

– To present new research on a specific topic

– 1 abstract of max 350 words including introduction methods results and discussion

Posters

– To present new research on a specific topic

– 1 abstract of max 350 words including introduction methods results and discussion

Workshop 

– To provide an interactive demonstration of a technological tool or software, treatment- or implementation protocol or VR experience.

– 1 abstract of max 350 words including introduction, working methods and learning objectives. Also enter max. no. of participants that can attend.

Pitch 

– To pitch new research ideas to an audience to receive suggestions and feedback

– Open to early career researchers (PhD or Post Doc max 5 years)

Symposium

– To provide a coherent collection of studies around a specific theme for an interested audience

– Overall symposium abstract. Minimum 3, maximum 4 abstracts of 350 words each, including introduction, methods, results, and discussion. Involvement of multiple institutions. One chairperson who will guide the symposium session, act as the main contact person for the organization, and collectively submit all the abstracts into the system
