In dit artikel wordt het onderzoeks protocol van VR-TOPIC beschreven. In dit onderzoek, dat in 2019 gestart is, gaan we onderzoeken of de VR-CGT behandeling sneller of beter werkt dan de reguliere CGT behandeling voor paranoia bij mensen met een psychotische stoornis.

Tijdens de COVID pandemie hebben we VRelax ingezet ter ontspanning van verpleegkundige op de intensive care afdeling van het UMCG. Meer dan 60% van de verpleegkundige vond VRelax helpend.

Emotieherkenning in een VR, foto en video taak zijn heel vergelijkbaar. Ook kijken mensen op vergelijkbare manier naar emotionele gezichten van avatars als echte gezichten.
